Tuesday Program: Meet The Lundstrum Performing Arts Center

Guest Speakers: Amy Casserly Ellis and her four Casserly sisters, owners and directors of the school

Come and learn about The Lundstrum Performing Arts Center, a premier training program for musical theater in dance, voice and drama since the 1920s. It was started by 15-year-old Dorothy Lundstrum and her two sisters, Lorraine and Marion. They launched what proved to be an amazing legacy in North Minneapolis.
The teachers are Broadway veterans and industry professionals with expertise to guide students to launch professional careers. They are passionate about helping students of all ages discover their gifts in mind, body and spirit. They work with all skill levels in a supportive community that welcomes everyone and recognizes each studentís unique talents.

Amy Casserly Ellis is the Executive Director for Lundstrum Performing Arts Center, and passionately leads the strategic vision with overall responsibility for program excellence and mission-driven partnerships. She is part of the artistic team as well, directing, casting and choreographing Lundstrum professional productions.
Students in the current summer camps program with entertain us with song and dance from two musical shows.

 

The Tuesday Program is a Club tradition to educate, inspire and entertain our Members and guests. Coffee and tea are served at 10:30 am in the Lounge, followed by a Guest Speaker in the Ballroom at 11:00 am and lunch in the Dining Room at 12:00 pm. The cost for lunch is $18.00 plus tax and service charge ($23.28, inclusive of tax and service). Reservations are not necessary.
