Want to learn to play Mah Jongg? Interested in brushing up on Mah Jongg? Or just curious about the game and want to see what the fuss is about?
Every Wednesday there will be a group of Members playing Mah Jongg from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Heritage Room. You are welcome to observe their play and to ask questions. If you are interested in learning the game, please email Mary Claire Schultz (firstname.lastname@example.org) and she will tell you what the next steps are.
By observing two weeks of Mah Jongg and reading a basic summary of the game and ordering the official score card, you will be ready to start playing. The Mah Jongg players at The Club are looking forward to having more Club Members playing.
The game pieces you will learn about are: winds, dragons (white, red, green), dots, bams (resemble bamboo), flowers, and jokers. We think once you see how it is played you will want to join the ranks of Mah Jongg players!
Mah Jongg occurs on September 5, 12, 19, 26
