Guest Speakers: Christina Baldwin, Sun Mee Chomet, Kelsey Didion
You are cordially invited to enter the world of Jane Austen with The Jungle. Enjoy a preview of The Wickhams and an intimate conversation with members of the creative team about the process and experience of putting on a new play.
Christina Baldwin is an actor, singer, writer and director. She has collaborated with Sarah Rasmussen and the Jungle Theater both as an actor and director, and most recently directed their production of Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly. She is an advocate of new work and has served as Artistic Associate, music director, creator and performer with The Moving Company.
Sun Mee Chomet is thrilled to be back at The Jungle Theater. She has worked with Lincoln Center Theater, Guthrie Theater, Mixed Blood Theater and much more. Sun Mee has been recognized with numerous accolades, and she is grateful to the Twin Cities’ arts community for making every day feel like a holiday.
Kelsey Didion is thrilled to be returning to the Jungle. Other regional credits include: Macbeth, Miss Bennet, Romeo & Juliet and more. Her film credits include Ricki & The Flash. She has an M.F.A. from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and is a proud graduate of the University of Evansville. Kelsey is also a founding member of The Midwives, a community of artists serving artists.
The Tuesday Program is a Club tradition to educate, inspire and entertain our Members and guests. Coffee and tea are served at 10:30 am in the Lounge, followed by a Guest Speaker in the Ballroom at 11:00 am and lunch in the Dining Room at 12:00 pm. The cost for lunch is $18.00 plus tax and service charge ($23.28, inclusive of tax and service). Reservations are not necessary.
