Tuesday Program - The Ann Bancroft Foundation: Making Dreams Come True

Event Date: Tuesday, February 26, 2019
Event Time: 11:00 am

Guest Speaker: Sara Fenlason

Since 2014, Sara Fenlason has served as the first executive director of the Ann Bancroft Foundation (ABF), leading remarkable growth in infrastructure while increasing the reach and impact of the organization across Minnesota.

Founded by globally renowned explorer Ann Bancroft, ABF’s mission is to inspire and encourage girls to imagine something bigger, striving to build confidence and offer tools that will allow a girl to go after her dreams and feel supported along the way. Through grants, mentorship, and ongoing development opportunities, the Ann Bancroft Foundation is giving Minnesota girls strength to achieve their full potential.

Sara will provide an overview of the work of the Foundation and paint a more detailed picture of the girls supported, reminding us all about the continued importance of building confidence and self-esteem in girls and women.
