On Earth Day 2025 (April 22), our Minnesota Fulbright Chapter, in proud partnership with The Woman's Club of Minneapolis and The Steger Center, is deeply honored to host internationally acclaimed explorer, educator, and environmental ambassador Will Steger for an evening talk and reception. A formidable voice calling for understanding and the preservation of the Arctic—and the Earth— Steger is best known for his legendary polar explorations, having traveled tens of thousands of miles by kayak and dogsled over 50 years, leading teams on some of the most significant polar expeditions in history. A recognized authority on polar environmental issues and a ceaseless advocate for the Earth’s well-being, Steger has testified before the United States Congress on the Arctic regions, climate change, and other environmental…
